Occasionally we’re asked about our stock photography at Image Studios. You’ll find our stock photography on stock photo sites like Getty, Uppercut, Veer, Punchstock, Corbis and Juniperimages. While operating for nearly 45 years as a commercial photography studio we’ve shot everywhere from foundries to aircraft carriers and everything from lawn mowers to fine jewelry, however, our food photography is quite popular on these stock photo sites.
Some days at Image are a little less glamorous than others, but the opportunities and variety of what we shoot, and the interesting people we meet are hard to beat. Michael Leschisin is seen here shooting a corporate video for United Rentals in Montreal.
Image Studios Photographer Glen Hartjes and Pro Angler Dean Rojas
Yamaha Outboard Motors has been a valued customer of Image Studios for over 20 years and Glen Hartjes recently had the opportunity to photograph the Yamaha Pro Anglers. Check out the new www.yamaha-motor.com website and all their pros. Dean Rojas has competed as a Yamaha Pro Angler for 12 years and holds world fishing records. While Glen has been shooting the outboard motors for many years, having the opportunity to meet and photograph the Yamaha Pro Anglers that power the high performance engines was a fun experience. It’s not every day you get to hear real fish tales from the Pros. Check out the website to see what’s creating all the buzz at Yamaha !

“The equation is fairly simple: Children in Need + Growing Youth Organization + Generous & Talented Company = Brighter Futures for our Youth. Image Studios’ generous contribution of an amazingly well-done and heart warming video as part of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ BE GREAT Campaign gives voice to the growing needs of our communities’ young people and clearly conveys how the Club brings hope and opportunity into thousands of young lives each year. Image Studios is not only great at what they do, they care about people. We’re proud to call them a partner and so very grateful for helping us do what we could not do on our own.”

Recently we rented one of our studios to Tony Mata of Meridian Studios. Tony was looking for a large Green Screen Sound Stage to shoot a music video for Barlow Girl. Having the Meridian crew in our studio was a great experience, and great to see their professionalism and talent at work.
Meridian Studios found a number of conveniences shooting at Image, from driving their production truck into our studio for unloading equipment, to the use of our dressing rooms and full service kitchen. Renting additional equipment was also convenient.
“Everyone at Image was so great to work with. They made it so easy for us to shoot there. I’ll look forward to another opportunity and I’m glad we finally had a chance to collaborate.” Director of Photography, Tony Mata, Meridian Studios.

Image Studios is a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity. Donna Gehl, along with members of Morning Rotary, spent Saturday morning landscaping the yard of a nearly completed Habitat home. Jimmy Wagner, a Menasha High School student, and his Mother Karen also volunteered their time. It was a great feeling for everyone to be a part of making a positive impact on the home and neighborhood.

Midwest Living Magazine asked us to shoot a story for them that took us to Grayslake, Illinois, where we photographed a Sunday flea market. If you want to know the rest of the story, you’ll have to wait for the publication to hit the stands. The location was ideal for this event and there were great buys, friendly vendors, and unique items everywhere at this newly constructed fair grounds of Grayslake. It was hard to resist all the rare and unique antiques and collectables while shooting, and Shane couldn’t help spotting this treasure for himself. Grayslake Antique Market

Michael Leschisin had an opportunity to meet Governor Jim Doyle on August 12th, at the U.S. Oil Open. This video of the Governor expressing his appreciation and support for the event was shot in the morning, edited in the afternoon and played at the dinner that evening. The U.S. Oil Open is Wisconsin’s single largest one-day charitable event dedicated to fighting poverty. More than 700 people representing 250 businesses, foundations and community non-profit organizations participated. Pro golfer, Nancy Lopez attended the event. This year the fund for basic needs brought in 1.45 million for Fox Valley Charities.
